Hopes and Dreams Schools Tour

Hopes & Dreams is a devising framework for schools based dance theatre work with young people created by Movement Director Temujin Gill and produced by Kate Scanlan, Scanner’s Inc.

Hopes & Dreams has a cast of three performers, two dancers and one MC. We are touring a short professional performance work and devising workshop package. The work will be in part created in consultation with young people and will do a schools tour for one week. The process focuses on young people’s hopes and dreams, ways in which they would change our current reality; the possibilities of now. Creating a framework for them to be creators, explore expressive writing, and develop showmanship, movement and vocal performance skills.

Hope & Dreams is part of Arts Unboxed, Greenwich Dance’s innovative new project enabling fantastic dance ideas to be sold and recreated across the UK.

We will be touring a performance and devising workshop for Hopes and Dreams to schools in Greenwich and South East London.

Performances are bookable for either the morning or afternoon, 19th - 23rd April.

In this time pupils will see a performance and take part in a devising process workshop to explore, create and perform their own work.
