1. New Movement Collective - Ten by Ten
Created during lockdown to celebrate the collective's 10th anniversary, this beautiful and inventive video was all filmed using mobile phones on location in England, Scotland, Spain, France and Hong Kong, and premiered just last week.
2. Ballet Soul - Othello21
Ballet Soul exist to help young people of colour overcome barriers to classical dance training. Othello21 is a 20 minute-long film reimagining Shakespeare’s tragedy for the 21st Century. With a dazzling original jazz score by composer Julian Joseph (who just received an Ivor Novello Fellowship!) and innovative choreography by Ben Love, this is a fun an vibrant introduction to ballet.

3. Kiera Martin - Familiar Struggle
A film collaboration with Wayne Sables, choreographed and performed by Keira Martin. Born in Barnsley is a woman with an ancient heart, ancient tears, ancient struggle and ancient fears. She has adopted oppression from a long line of ancestry which is still alive bubbling in her blood and her bones. Despite this she continues to strive on living her life. Challenging her underdog mentality, working hard to achieve. She has a firm grasp on reality with her feet firmly rooted into the earth. She continues to build communities and a sense of belonging. Part of Surf The Wave's Waving Goodbye commissioned series.

4. Sadler's Wells / Candoco Dance Company - Cuckoo
Cuckoo is a new visually striking and playful dance film from Candoco Dance Company, inspired by a bespoke prosthetic leg created by Sophie de Oliveira Barata of The Alternative Limb Project, for dancer Welly O’Brien.

5. Sadler's Wells Global Gala
This fundraising Global Gala brings together artists and famous faces from around the world to celebrate dance and support the full reopening of Sadler's Wells. You can see thrilling performances, messages and sketches from some of the greatest artists of our time, including Antony Gormley, Akram Khan, Natalia Osipova, Hofesh Shechter, Sting and many more. Plus, they reveal the unknown off-stage talents of your favourite choreographers.Watch online until 5 January 2021.
