Workshop: Swan Lake with Kerry Biggin

Wednesday 5th & Thursday 6th December 13:00-15:30

Suitable for: Dance students, graduates and professional dancers wanting an insight into Matthew Bourne’s choreographic approach. Age 16+

Content: Delve into the company’s signature style that has delighted millions worldwide. Thrilling, audacious, witty and emotional, Swan Lake is perhaps still best known for replacing the female corps-de-ballet with a menacing male ensemble, which shattered conventions, turned tradition upside down and took the dance world by storm.

These workshops will explore the movement language of New Adventures to include how creative devices are used within Bourne’s unique use of storytelling through movement. Come along to one, or both days.

Cost: £20 per workshop (content will differ on both days and complement the previous day)

Venue: Greenwich Dance, Charlton House, Charlton Road, SE7 8RE (Nearest BR: Charlton, see our website or call us for travel and access information)
