Professional Class: Botis Seva

Botis’ class is centered around groove, going with and against the music to find an individuals’ musicality, with awareness to sound and self. Taking foundations from House dance, Botis will combine intricate footwork with a grounded urgency to establish fast paced and challenging environment. 

There is no class on Bank Holiday Monday (Monday 29 May)

Botis Seva

Botis Seva is a dance artist that works within the realms of hip hop theatre, blurring the lines between contemporary, physical theatre & hip hop.

He was awarded the Bonnie Bird Choreography Fund, Marion North Mentoring Award in 2015 and has since won the two largest international choreographic competitions: Choreography 30 in Hannover, Germany and Copenhagen’s International Choreographic Competition.

Botis presented his own WildCard nights at the Lilian Baylis, Sadler’s Wells in September 2015 before presenting ‘InNoForm’ at the British Dance Edition & Laban Theatre. 2016 also saw him commissioned by Without Walls, GDIF and Norfolk & Norwich Festival to tour his outdoor work ‘H.O.H’ as well as The Greenwich Dance & Trinity Laban Partnership's Compass Commission to create a new work ‘Woman of Sun’.
